For about five years, I spent a lot of time on the road for work and one of the challenges that I faced was where my studio space was while away from home for an extended period of time. That space was often on airplanes, in hotel rooms, and at the bars and restaurants where I would end up. The drawings below comprise a sort of travel log from the spring of 2014 and is, in large part, where I generated many of the ideas that lead to the work that I’ve been making over the last few years.
